Eating is already part of our daily living, may it be healthy eating or not, we need to eat to survive. There is a lot of food that we can buy in the supermarket; some are fresh while some are preserved. But can we eat better? Our ancestors had lived for a long time because they have been eating healthy. Of course we have been eating different types of food since we are living in different areas of the world but proper dieting should always be a prerequisite to have a healthy and nourished body.
Since today we cannot control our family to eat junk foods, somehow, we need to educate them on what it can give them and the right kind of foods that they need to eat to get the exact nourishment they need. Every one of us needs to have a balanced diet. We need to eat better because this will make healthier and stronger. Dieting is good but the foods that we eat needs to be balanced. Proteins, calcium, carbohydrates, vitamins and other minerals need to be included in our every day food intake.
Other doctors suggested consuming at least 2000 calories per day but it would be best to check with your doctor for your prescribed calorie intake per day. You always eat better since you have the option to it your food raw or cooked. Some loves eating their vegetables raw; other would love half cooked. When dieting, avoid eating too much sweet like cakes, pastries, candies, etc. because these will only give you flabby abs and a big tummy.
Always think of what your body will gain every time you eat food since it will show in your body and you would feel it if you have been eating healthy foods. Not eating healthy will make you a candidate for stroke, heart attack, diabetes and other forms of diseases. If you are fond of cooking, try substituting unhealthy ingredients and add healthy foods instead. It is always important to check the back label of the foods you eat in that way you would which ingredient is good for your body and which is not. And as what they say, you are what you eat!
