SF Connect represents a smart public/private/social sector partnership utilizing existing resources rather than building a new bureaucracy.
The committed team of city employees, nonprofit professionals and business people involved with SF Connect agree unanimously on a core set of values and principles
San Francisco Connect Core Values and Principles:
- Substance will prevail over style: real services delivering real results is what matters most.
- Start small, execute well, under-promise, over-deliver and allow programs to evolve organically.
- Utilize existing partners across sectors rather than build a new bureaucracy: "scale out, not up."
- Be embraced by San Franciscans as a new form of public problem solving for the city: be owned and identified not just with the current administration but by every administration in the future.
